RELAX, GOD IS IN CONTROL

INTRODUCTION:
It is an accepted fact that everybody on this planet earth becomes anxious about something at a certain point in time.  Anxiety is emotional condition in which there is fear and uncertainty about the future.

A.  WHO ARE AFFECTED BY ANXIETY?
i   Leaders like Presidents, Pastors, Chiefs and Kings, Pastors, Church Presiding Elders, Youth Leaders
etc. become anxious about how to improve upon their leadership.
ii.  The rich are anxious about how to get more richer.  They need to protect their wealth from  armed
robbers and fraudsters.  They secure their premises with burglar proof and security men day and
           night.
iii.   The poor are also anxious about how to make ends meet and look after their children with regards to
shelter, food, clothing and payment of school fees.

B.  THE RESULT OF ANXIETY
     i.  Anxiety will bring many sicknesses into your body.  If you think too much, your blood pressure will
rise and result in headache and some other diseases.
ii.  The word of God tells us in Matt. 6:27 that a cubit can never be added to our height by thinking.

C.  ALLOW GOD TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE
   i.  In Jeremiah 18, God likened human being to a clay being moulded by a potter.  If the clay is not soft
the potter cannot use it.  Relax for God to mould you and shape you the way He wants.

ii.  A visit to Blacksmith shop will teach you a great lesson.  The metal is refined by heating with fire.  This
shows that if we are passing through many problems and difficulties, we should depend on God to
       refine us.

CONCLUSION:
The  Bible admonishes us not to be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition
and with thanksgiving we must  present our request to the Almighty God.  By doing that the peace of         God that surpasses and transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in the name of
      JESUS.  (Phil. 4:6.7)
